Boxes — new five-layer cardboard
Only new boxes made of five-layer (double-wall) corrugated cardboard. Three-layer, used and supermarket boxes are not suitable. Optimal size 60×40×40 cm, up to 20 kg per box.
On the road your boxes travel in a stack up to 2.4 metres high and are reloaded between trucks and warehouses two to four times. Packing meant to survive the walk to the car does not hold up. Either we pack — €90 per m³ — or you pack to the requirements below.
€90 per m³ of the shipment. Materials included. Prices as of 10.09.2026.

Fill the box completely — voids go to crumpled paper or filler. The lid must not give under your hand. Heavy things (books) go into small boxes; heavy at the bottom, light on top.
Two to three layers of bubble wrap per item, plates on edge with spacers between them, filler above and below. Mark the box FRAGILE with an up arrow.
Reinforced tape only, at least three crosswise strips on the bottom and the lid — stationery tape will not do. Electronics: the original box is best; otherwise bubble wrap plus rigid spacers on every side, no movement inside. Defrost and dry the fridge and washing machine 24 hours in advance. Clothes and textiles go into vacuum bags or sturdy sacks — soft items do not count as protection for fragile things in the same box.
Number every box and write what is inside (which room). Make a list of boxes by number — customs and the handover both rely on it.
Aerosols, paint, fuel and lubricants, gas cylinders, lithium batteries separate from the device, perishable food, liquids without sealed packaging.
Yes, and this is the main thing to understand. Boxes packed by the owner are accepted by count and by the external condition of the packaging. The carrier is not liable for the contents or for the consequences of weak packing, and insurance cover for such boxes is limited to the loss of a whole box. Full cover applies to items packed by our crew.
We have seen it more than once: thin cardboard collapses under the weight of the stack after two reloads, the boxes buckle and topple. Boxes in new five-layer cardboard standing right next to them hold their shape for the whole route.
€90 per m³ of the shipment, materials included. For a one-bedroom flat of about 6 m³ that is €540 on top of the transport price.
